NTRCA issued the third public notice on March 30 this year. According to the public notification, out of 54,304 vacancies, there are 31,101 vacancies at school and college level. Of these, 26,637 are MPO registered posts. There are a total of 20,998 vacancies in madrasas and technical institutes. Of these, 19,154 are MPO registered. Out of the total 54,304 posts, 2,206 MPO candidates who participated in the writ case have got the opportunity to apply. Candidates who have attained the age of 35 years before the issuance of the MPO policy on June 12, 2016 have also got the opportunity to apply.

The education minister further said that although the application process for filling 54,000 vacant posts in private educational institutions has been completed, it has not been possible to publish the results of the applicants for so long due to a case in the court. As per the directions of the court, 51,071 posts will be filled. The High Court had recommended NTRCA to appoint 2,500 teachers who did not get jobs even after passing 1st to 12th of teacher registration. The Appellate Division quashed the verdict on June 26. Shant Ahmed, one of the leaders of the candidates, told Bangladesh Journal that the publication of the results was stuck in the complexity of the case with prelims, written and viva. Many families have been saved through today’s results. He thanked all those who were by his side during this struggle.
